The Flying Saucer - Situated in the heart of downtown and right on the Metro rail lines. Featuring a wall of over 85 taps and with another 130 beers in the bottle. A full menu is also available. Join the UFO club and be immortalized in the Ring Of Honor with your own saucer on the wall after your 200th beer. The Ginger Man - Located in the trendy Rice Village, it's the oldest location of the Ginger Man family of pubs. About 80 beers on tap with an extensive list of beers by the bottle as well. It does not have full food service, but they do offer light snacks such as chips, cheese plate and pretzel dogs. Large patios in front and back make this a great place to lounge around outside on nice days. The front patio is also great for people watching.
The Petrol Station - A former gas station turned coffeehouse / bar hidden away in the Garden Oaks / Oak Forest neighbourhood. Its not very large inside, only 6 or 7 tables and an L shaped bar. But, like a lot of places like this, it has very large patios in front and back. A carefully chosen beer selection consists of 14 taps and 2 casks with no macro lagers in sight. They managed to squeeze in a small kitchen which serves up some amazing handmade sandwiches and burgers.
Although considered one of the top cocktail bars in America, Anvil also has a carefully chosen selection of craft beer on tap and cask. The available beers are constantly rotated and an updated chalkboard on the wall indicates what's on Right Now and what's Up Next for each of the taps. A great place to go with a mixture of people who like craft beer and unique cocktails.

Taps House Of Beer - It's more of a large sports bar that has a lot of taps then just a beer bar. Located on the very trendy Washington Avenue strip, its pretty easy to spot as the doorway is a large wooden beer cask. The entire bar is just one large room with outdoor patios in the front and back of the building. A long wooden bar runs the entire length of the right side with 96 taps along the wall behind it. Didn't find anything rare or extreme available, but the number of taps they have still makes it worth mentioning. Parking can very difficult to find in the area and tickets and towed vehicles are not uncommon.
This page is an ongoing work in progress and I'll continue to add bars to it as I get around to writing up a review for them. If there's a particular bar that you feel is worthy of mention, then feel free to sent me an email.
